A gold Waltham pocket watch and rose gold Albert chain, c.1890; a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, marked '10C' on case and cuvette, case no. 2061, maker's mark A.B. 'Hillside' grade movement no. 4612897, signed American Watch Co. Waltham, Massachusetts, 47mm, together with a rose gold Albert chain, with hollow curb links individually marked 9ct, with T-bar and swivel clasps, suspending a masonic photo locket/fob and a small fob seal. Combined weight 134.62g (2) Condition Report: Currently running at time of cataloguing. No guarantee as to timekeeping or continued running. Fully wound. Crown winds and hands adjust. Gold to crown worn with one panel vacant. Case secures well. Glass showing a few marks and scratches near the centre. A little dirt to edge of glass. A few fine hairline cracks running across the bottom of the dial. Engraving to case back worn, probably from wear and over polishing. Bow worn. Marks and scratches to pocket watch surfaces. Commensurate with age and usage. Minor marks and scratches to chain surfaces. Commensurate with age and usage. Locket/fob and a small fob seal showing a few small chips to hardstones. Both showing a little tarnish.
