of domed form, engraved with a dense floral pattern, a broad band of large linked cartouches with gold koftgari floral and scrolling decoration, the rim with a narrow band of circular medallions comprising Persian calligraphic verses with silver overlay, the moveable nasal guard flanked by plume holders, with spike and chain mail neck-guard

Condition Report:
The surface with some weathering and erosion, gold design visible, tarnishing to silver, notably the inscription, could benefit from a professional clean, chainmail in general good condition with very minor missing sections, textile to interior with some stains, tears and wear, as viewed.
