A gold smoky quartz and diamond pendant, suspended from a cord. Smoky quartz calculated weight 23.62cts, based on estimated dimensions of 18 by 17.5 by 12mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Pendant with hallmarks for Sheffield. Clasp stamped 750. Length of pendant 3.4cms. Length of cord 40cms. Total weight 14.6gms.

- Smoky quartz is a deep to medium slightly greenish-brown hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Smoky quartz is in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Pendant electronically tests as approximately 18ct gold, however bears later, erroneous hallmarks for 9ct gold.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
