A good pair of 34 bore Scottish all metal flintlock belt pistols by Macleod, c 1820, 11" overall, barrels 7" with octagonal muzzles, engraved with sunburst at the breeches and "Warranted" and with silver touch holes, signed locks with simple scroll engraving and rollers on the frizzens, with silver coloured stocks, the butts with engraved borders and sunbursts, thistle prickers, ball triggers, steel belt hooks, and plain steel ramrods. GWO& C, the barrels retaining much blued finish. £2000-3000
