A good quality 36 bore flintlock boxlock pocket pistol, by John Jones, London, c 1820, turn off barrel 2", with fern tip engraved muzzle, the rounded frame engraved with trophies of flags, the rounded breech signed and bearing B'ham proofs, with raised pan, rollers on the frizzen spring, hidden trigger, top safety catch which also secures the frizzen, and rounded chequered butt with silver escutcheon and engraved silver butt cap. GWO & clean condition (the jaw screw a replacement) £250-300
