Other Notes: Gita Press is an Indian books publishing company, headquartered in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is the world's largest publisher of Hindu religious texts. It was founded on May 3, 1923 by Jaya Dayal Goyanka and Ghanshyam Das Jalan. Their images are found in many households throughout India, and their influence on the visual vocabulary for modern depictions of deities cannot be overstated.
Condition Report: All in overall great condition, the colors fresh, with no losses or tears. The paper covers of the three albums of color prints with superficial dirt, minor creases, edge tears, and the paper softened due to age. The poster loose, not matted.All unframed Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request.
