A group of 7 Egyptian faience amulets
A group of 7 Egyptian faience amulets. A mixed group, with most dating from the Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, and include stylized amulets of Bes, Pataikos a stamp seal and a nice head of a goddess. Also included is a Roman faience fist amulet, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, in nice blue color. Largest 18 mm in length. All with suspension holes, many with nice color. Ex estate of Seward Kennedy, New York. Mr. Kennedy worked for decades as a lawyer for the Mobil Corporation, and acquired his collection throughout decades of travel beginning in the 1950's.
