A group of Pre-Columbian ceramic vessels

A group of Pre-Columbian ceramic vessels. Lot includes a Pre-Classic zoomorphic jar with arms serving as handles, the face nicely modeled, H: 3 3/8 in (8.5 cm). The second is a cute squat jar human arms on the shoulder and flared mouth with four small loop handles. 2 3/8 x 3 1/4 in (6.1 x 9.5 cm). The third is a Guangala-Manabi bowl from Ecuador, c. AD 500, the four legs in the form of stylized human figures, the bowl shallow. Dia: 6 in (15.2 cm). The fourth is a Chimu ceramic bowl, c. AD 1000 - 1450, with rounded bottom and near vertical rim decorated with horizontal lines in a light brown slip. W: 7 1/8 in (18.2 cm). Light deposits. Ex Early Times Auction, (July 1978).
