A group of small Continental and English silver boxes comprising: a repousse rectangular trinket box, possibly German, 18th century, with unidentified marks to lip, decorated with farming and river scenes to lid, the sides decorated with bears, swans and birds within scroll framed cartouches, 5.1 x 7.5cm; an 18th century Dutch silver snuff box, Amsterdam, c.1750, chased with flowers and scrolls to hinged lid and sides, 2.9cm high; a rounded Victorian example, Chester, 1888, maker's mark indistinct, approx. 4.3xcm dia.; and an oval Victorian silver example, Birmingham, 1890, maker F.S, approx. 5.1cm long, total weight approx. 5.4oz (4)
