oval shaped intaglio, approximately 10 x 9mm, depicting a male figure, possibly 2nd-3rd century AD, later closed back setting, carved shoulders, oval shaped flat grooved shank, approximate size J, unmarked, tested to at least 18ct gold, weight 6g

General surface abrasion and wear to intaglio

Wear to setting, consistent with age

Reverse is heavily scratched and dented

Shoulders and shank also heavily scratched and dented
