A heraldic glass confit or ambrosia dish
Round base supporting a shaft with a faceted node and an elliptical dish with gadrooned lower section and gilt foliate tendril reliefs. Finely engraved with an arms of alliance to the front and Chinoiseries to the reverse, fruit on rocaille brackets to either side. With sanded chips to the edge of the base, some wear to the outer gold rim. H 13.5 cm.
