About the artist
Che Chengxuan was born in 1926 in Beijing, China, one of the contemporary famous painters in fine characters, flowers and birds, sprinkling out of the dust when the path, the characters deep Liang Kai’s legacy, Yan Sun essence, painted flowers and birds in and out of the White Yang bitter iron between, good calligraphy, take the law of the second king, self-style, do not see the spirit of the show. “The source of the creation of foreign teachers”, with the form of God, is the traditional Chinese realism and romanticism combined creative spirit, both inherited and out of the ancient law. Student of master Mr. Xu Yansun. In 1944, he joined the Department of Fine Arts of Beiping Furen University. By the industry in Yu, Jin Jin, Qigong, Wang Solu, Chen Yuan, Lu Hongnian and other teachers.

In 1948, she moved to Taiwan to continue his art work.
From 1963 to 1965, he was a lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts at the Chinese Academy of Culture in Taipei.
From 1965 to 1966, a solo exhibition was held in Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and other places.
In 1977, a new book, “Looking at the Red Leaves and Listening to the Autumn Sound”, was in the collection of the National Museum of Singapore.
In 1980, held her fifth solo exhibition in Singapore, and in the same year, the two pictures of “Furong” and “Peony” were selected by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore as the New Year cards and cover images of the heads of the country. In the same year, he produced the first color program for Singapore Education Television, entitled “Painting”, and won the “Special Award” in the 11th Japan International Education Program Competition held in Tokyo, Japan.
In 1990, the 6th Solo Art Exhibition was hosted by Nanyang College of Art of Singapore, which was opened by Xue Aimi, Minister of State for Education and Social Development of Singapore.
In 1991,7th Solo Exhibitionat Taipei’s Shida Gallery, his alma mater, Furen University, which was opened by Archbishop Luo Guang.
In 1997, held the 8th Solo Exhibition in the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, which was opened by Singapore Art Society President and Ex- Member of Parliament of Singapore He Jialiang
From 1995 to 1997, he taught in the Senior Class of Chinese Painting at Nanyang College of Art in Singapore.
In July 2000, he returned to his native Beijing and is currently a consultant to the Fine Arts Research Association of Furen University in Beijing.

车澄霖1926年生于中国北京，为当代著名画家之一，精人物、花鸟，潇洒出尘不落时径，人物深得梁楷遗风，燕孙精髓，所绘花鸟出入白阳苦铁之间，擅书法，取法二王，自成风貌，不见闺秀之气。以书法精神渗透在作画技巧上，苍劲有律，墨润焕发，使有“笔力劲健，风神顿爽”之感。“外师造化中得心源”，以形为神，是为中国传统的现实主义及浪漫主义相结合的创作精神，既继承而又越出古人法度。这意境即是所追求的灵魂，所以澄霖常以“可贵者胆，所要者魂”为座右铭。

爱母薰陶，濡染于艺术天地之中，幼拜人物大师徐燕孙先生为师。1944年入北平辅仁大学美术系。受业于溥忻，溥金，启功，汪溶，陈缘督，陆鸿年等诸名师。
1948年，迁台继续研究美术工作。
1963年——1965年，任台北中国文化学院美术系讲师。
1965年——1966年，在台北，香港，新加坡，吉隆坡等地举办个人巡回画展。
1977年，以新作“漫看红叶听秋声”一图为新加坡国家博物馆所收藏。
1980年，新加坡举办第五次个人画展，同年在作品中以“芙蓉”“牡丹”二图分别为新加坡文化部及外交部选作为全国各首长之贺年卡、封面图片。同年又为新加坡教育电视台摄制第一套彩色节目名为“书画”，参选在日本东京举办第十一届日本国际教育节目竞赛中荣获“特别奖”。
1990年，由新加坡南洋艺术学院主办第六届个人画展，新加坡教育部兼社会发展部政务部长薛爱美主持开幕。
1997年，新加坡中华总商会嘉庚堂举办第八届个人画展，由新加坡艺术学院何家良院长主持开幕。
1991年，在台北师大画廊，母校辅仁大学主办第七届个人画展，校长罗光总主教主持开幕。
1995——1997年，任教于新加坡南洋艺术学院中国画高级班讲师。
2000年7月，归返祖籍北京，现任北京辅仁大学美术研究会顾问。
