Length of the blade 70.5 cm, shinogi zukuri with bohi in full length on both sides, suguha hamon, boshi ko-maru, itame-masame hada, very good state of polish. Nakago: ubu, one mekugi-ana, mei: Bizen no Kuni ju Osafune Tadamitsu and dated Eiroku 5 (1562). Gold-plated habaki. Purple silk bag. Tokubetsu Kichô Tôken paper of the NBTHK dated 1978. Shinguntô-koshirae of shikitô type with tsunagi of an army parade sabre, gilt metal mounts and wire binding over same. Scabbard lacquered in same-nuri style. Early 20th century. Bag of striped cotton.
