The piece lacks the nuts which secure the model to the base, and as a result they lift apart. The sword blade is not present and the hilt is damaged and modified. The body of the horse shows an open joint running parallel to the girth, and a repair to the back right leg. The lacquered finish shows surface wear throughout including some small areas of loss and scratching, and may be a later application to the original finish.
