A large Chinese doucai floral dish
Qing dynasty, Yongzheng period
Painted to the centre with a lotus flower branch within a single circle in underglaze blue with two peony branches issuing symmetrically from each side covering the well, a diaper ground to the shallow cavetto decorated with flower branches to cardinal direction each below a flower branch to the rim, 35cm diameter.

Condition Report:
Generally in good condition. An old chip to the foot rim of approx. 1cm across. A shallow flake to the foot rim of approx. 0.6cm across. Firing imperfections including fritting, iron spots, pitting, yellowing and crazing in glaze.
