A large Chinese famille rose 'flower basket' serving platter
Qing dynasty, 18th century
Brightly enamelled to the centre with a basket filled with luxuriant flowering blossoms, peaches and pomegranates, the rim with flowering peonies and prunus branches on alternate pale blue and pink diaper pattern bands, separated by medallions enclosing antique vases and incense burners, the reverse with four sketched lingzhi springs in iron red, the base left plain, 39.3cm diameter.
