A large Chinese famille rose plate

Qianlong (1736-1795), the rounded sides rising from a circular foot to a wide everted rim, the centre painted in gilt with four bats enclosing a swastika symbol within a ruyi-head shaped border, surrounded by butterflies amongst chilong and scrolling lotus, the pierced rim decorated with bats and ruyi-heads borders, all against a green ground, the underside similarly decorated, with a six-character Qianlong mark in gilt to base, 39cm diameter Provenance: From the deceased estate of Rosemary and Theo Cutting in Suffolk.
