The hinged slant from enclosing a configuration of drawers and pigeon holes around a central door flanked by a pair of secret drawers.

Condition Report: Structurally sound. With a deep red/brown color to timber overall. Rubbing and unevenness to refinished surface. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracks, rubbing, wear, restorations and replacements. Hardware replaced. Lock to slant front removed with two patched repairs to front and patched repair to top framing as visible in catalogue photos. Other later locks remain. With losses around locks to drawer fronts. With cracks to front edges of case at writing surface around hinges. Slant front hinges possibly replaced. Replacements to pigeon hole brackets of interior. Notable scrubbed wear around handles of drawer fronts with polish residue to crevices. Feet probably original. Cracks to brackets. No key.
