skilfully modelled standing and holding a scroll in the right hand, dressed in layered robes gathered over rounded shoulders and opening at the front to reveal a bejewelled necklace, the face with a benevolent and peaceful expression, the back with an impresssed commendation seal mark reading boji yuren (shall virtue extend to all fishermen)
Height 45.5 cm, 17 7/8 in.

Condition Report:
Left hand is restored with overspray, a fine crack is visible between the fingers, a long horizontal firing crack to the back, measuring approximately 16cm. long, extended to an area of overspray to the right shoulder, a further area of overspray is to the bottom left edge of the robe.
