A large Valdivian ceramic female bust, Ecuador, c. 3200 - 1200 BC, with beautifully burnished red surfaces and nice detail. H: 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm). Burnished surfaces well-preserved, losses to lower part of figure. Ex Swope collection, New York.
