standing four-square, the head turned and slightly lowered, the mouth open and nostrils flared, with prominent eyes set below heavy brows, one ear pricked, the other held back, the flexed powerful neck grooved for attachment of the mane, the powerfully modelled body and sinewy legs entirely covered with a rich chestnut glaze of rich tones, a splash of green across the left rear haunch, wood stand
