A large and impressive cordiform gilt silver Asyk Pendant, Turkestan, Teke Tribe - 1880-1900
Worn originally also as a hair ornament. The heart-shaped Asyk Pendant is adorned with fine scrollwork and zigzag filigree on its borders. Inset with 7 carnelian cabochon and a larger carnelian in the center.
3 hanging rings on top and a tubular element for stringing.
