A large gilt silver pectoral ornament - Turkestan, Teke tribe - 1880-1900
Worn on the chest. The large ornament is finely decorated throughout with gilded scrollwork and carnelian stones. Decorated on the top with openwork and two rings for hanging. Gilt silver links set with carnelian cabochon hang from the bottom of the piece followed by silver tassels and silver pendants embossed in organic design.
