Arbeitszeit ihres Hauses", below 2 old "Bücherwürmer" bookworms gnawing on red pig-skin book covers, inscribed VERGRIFFEN (OUT OF PRINT), with a roller for printer's ink, surmounted by a brush and five mushrooms symbolising good fortune, verso with 2 red crayfish with antennas, an ink roller held in their feet, in their claws a book with brown cover inscribed MACULATUR (PRINTER'S WASTE), surmounted by a brush with five mushrooms, adding up to 10 mushrooms symbolising 100 years of good fortune, inscribed below: "Den Buecherwurm den lob ich mir, Er frißt den Geist mit dem Papier, Der Krebs der bringt mir niemals Glueck, wenn er von Leipzig kommt zurueck", dated 9.
