A large parcel-gilt silver Torah Crown, probably Galicia, late 18th/early 19th century
engraved with town and shipping scenes on top below gilt ball finial, the upper part with gallery of deer alternating with birds perched on columns above a pierced band of scrolling foliage, the main body with seven ribs joined by pairs of lions standing on spread eagles, all applied with fruits and flowers
unmarked except for later French control mark
