A large silver twin-handled, lidded trophy cup, 'The Weeks Perpetual Silver Challenge' cup. Handles with feather type details, the tapered column with a wide collar, raised on a wide, shallow foot. With engraved presentation details, hallmarks for London 1935, maker's mark rubbed. H28.2cm, weight 1149.4g. Height with lid circa 35cm. The separate base with applied and engraved white metal flags. Sold on behalf of the Mendip Beekeepers Association.
