A late 18c 30 hour longcase clock the 28cm square brass dial signed N.Wilson Kendal and having scroll spandrels, date mechanism and plaque (probably a wedding gift to William and Elizabeth Kendal). The movement is chain driven and has countwheel striking on a bell. It is contained in an oak and mahogany case with flat topped hood and turned baluster columns flanking the dial. The trunk has a short trunk door with fixed panel below, both with mahogany crossbanded edges and quarter columns to the corners. The base has canted corners and crossbanded mahogany edges and oak ball feet. The clock stands 210 cm tall.
