A late 18th century Naval officer's dirk, the 12" curved single-edged blade with 4.5" double-edged tip and incised decoration, gilt brass recurved quillon and lion's head pommel with chain knuckle guard and ivory grips, gilt brass mounted leather scabbard, overall length 41cm. CITES Self Certification Ref: 8HZLPYT2Condition Report Ivory grip split, with further losses and staining. Blade tarnished with several nicks.
