A late 18th century ring, with a central later garnet within a claw setting to rubover rose cut diamond shoulders, with the remains of enamelled decoration, finger size S 1/2; together with an 18 carat gold signet ring, engraved with a crest, with full Birmingham hallmarks for 1918, finger size U, 7.4g

First ring; The garnet is later, the shank has been sized larger and patched at one shoulder, a lot of enamelling missing.
