the jewellery box in the Louis XVI taste with cast musical trophy and foliate scroll panelled decoration on tapering square pilaster supports, the lid opening to a pink silk buttoned divided interior, the dressing box of twin handled bombe form in the Louis XV taste with applied foliate and garlanded floral mounts, on pierced scrolling bracket feet, the hinged lid with folding front with foliate escutcheon and inset domed Sevres style porcelain panel decorated with a courting couple, the interior part fitted two green opaline glass scent bottles with gilt metal hinged lids, the jewellery box, 12.5cm high, 23cm wide, 13cm deep, the dressing box, 20cm high, 34cm wide, 20cm deep (2)
