A late 19th century French ormolu, black patinated and white marble mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension, striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the white enamel circular dial with blue Roman hour numerals and outer black Arabic minutes, inscribed 'Raingo Fres a Paris', the black patinated fluted urn shaped case with ormolu foliate surmount above ribbon bow and acanthus swags, flanked by a pair of mask and eagle headed serpent handles, on an acanthus and festoon stem, octagonal white marble base and toupie feet, height 53.5cm, with pendulum.
