A late 19th century Russian gold, amethyst and diamond

A late 19th century Russian gold, amethyst and diamond bar brooch. The sugarloaf amethyst cabochon, with old-cut diamond line accent, foliate pierced sides. Estimated dimensions of amethyst 11.9 by 11.7 by 8.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Russian marks. Length 7.8cms. Weight 20.7gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Some of the marks are partially indistinct.
Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with moderate inclusions, some surface reaching. Two appear to have small shallow chips to the crown.
Amethyst is a deep, medium blueish purple hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

Amethyst in good condition with minor abrasions.
