A late 19th century Swiss music box by Mermod Frères, the interchangeable 29cm cylinder playing six airs, the nickel-plated movement with slow/fast lever, tune change and indicator, detailed 'PARACHUTE MERMOD BREVETE', within a marquetry inlaid rosewood and simulated rosewood case, height 20cm, width 71cm, depth 28cm, together with two interchangeable cylinders in a separate case.
