A late 19th century amethyst and split pearl ring, with replacement 12ct band.

Band with hallmarks for Birmingham.

Ring size O. 1.6gms.

Condition Report:
Surface scratches, small dents and varied discolouration. Wear to claws, some deficent.
Replacement band.
Band is out of shape.
Glue residue can be seen to the side of the band, appears to be joining the band to the ring head.
Amethysts, medium purple, fairly well saturated.
One principal amethyst with sizable nick to crown.
Amethsyts noticable nicks to girdle. Nibbles to facet and facet edges.
Split pearls creamy white body colour, one with crack running across.
