A late 19th century brass wall plaque RMS China ( possibly RMS Empress of China): in the form of an anchor with life preserver engraved 'RMS China', 26.5cm high. *Notes- RMS Empress of China was built in 1890-91 by Naval Construction & Armament Co, Barrow for the Canadian Pacific Steamships. She operated between Canada and the Far East until she sank in Tokyo harbour in 1911 after hitting an underwater reef.
