The cushion-shape Burmese ruby and rose-cut diamond cluster, inset to the bevelled jade disc, with alternating cushion-shape ruby and rose-cut diamond surround. With report 78161-67 for principal ruby, dated 11th June 2018, from GCS, stating Burma, no heat, weight 0.69ct. Diameter 3.3cms. Weight 16gms. Jade untested. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Brooch is a possible conversion with replacement elements. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Please see report for further details of principal ruby. Non-principal rubies are a medium pinkish red hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

Non-principal rubies are in good condition with some minor nibbles to the facet edges.

Jade untested for natural colour origin. Jade is a mottled green hue. Nicks and abrasion mainly to bevelled edge. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.

Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
