A late 19th century oak bracket clock with two train eight day movement striking quarters on two gongs and hours on the larger gong, the backplate stamped 'W & H Sch' (Winterhalder & Hofmeier), the rectangular brass dial with silvered chapter ring below subsidiary slow/fast and chime/silent indicators, the case with carved scallop shell to arch above a dentil cornice, glazed door and turned columns, the sides with carved and pierced fret doors, on a foliate carved stepped base and bun feet, height 48.5cm, with pendulum.
