A late 19th/early 20th century Austro-Hungarian silver spice tower (besamim), Brno/Brunn, 1872-1921, maker's mark EE, 800 standard, of typical form with openwork square body to tapering turret surmounted by a flag, the square base raised on four domed feet, 19.5cm high, together with two wood-backed Mezuzah cases, the white metal mounts apparently unmarked, 22.9 and 25.2cm long, weighable weight (tower) approx. 3.1oz (3)
