A late Georgian gold diamond mourning ring. The oval glazed panel, depicting a hair work and diamond point floral basket, with bow and chequerboard on ivory. Ring size O. Weight 4.8gms. Purchasing information Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Repair/alteration to the mount and band. Some replacement diamonds. Basket motif missing flowers and gems. Ivory is cracked and chipped, deficient sections to the chequerboard section and to the left of the panel. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
