A late Georgian hexafoil shaped diamond set target cluster

A late Georgian hexafoil shaped diamond set target cluster,
later mounted as a brooch. An old European cut diamond in a cut down collet at the centre, with a border of old European cut diamonds. Six cushion cut diamonds, each one in a cut down collet, with an open lobed frame of graduated cushion shaped, old Swiss cut diamonds. All set in silver to dome backed closed collets, with a later gold brooch fitting and hinged pendant bale. Tested as approximately sterling silver and 9ct gold.
