A late Regency mahogany campaign sofa, circa 1820, with removable back and sides above a seat with canvas base and ring turned Legs, 83cm high, 137cm wide, 53cm deepProvenance: Removed from Norris Castle, Isle of WightCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, knocks and chips to extremitiesThe metal brackets now securing the back and sides may be later, to give solidity, they would need to be unscrewed eachtime the piece was to be dismantled and moved whilst on campaign, Dreweatts have not tried to dismantle this piece and therefore can offer no opinion on this function.
