A late Victorian 15ct gold hardstone fob and 9ct gold charm. The fob designed as a bloodstone and chalcedony panel opening to reveal inner compartment with engraved scrolling surround and surmount, the charm designed as an enamel Yeoman of the Guard carrying a staff. Fob clasp AF. One with hallmarks for 9ct gold. Lengths 3 and 3.2cms. Total weight 11gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Clasp does not close and fasten correctly, the setting is split/broken so the bar wont hold in place and may require further attention/repair. Loose jewellery component inside the fob compartment has not been identified further testing required. Hardstones are in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the surfaces.

Enamel is in fair condition with some abrasions, few chips to parts of the enamel, may require attention. Yeoman charm stamped 375. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
