A late Victorian 15ct gold sapphire and diamond
A late Victorian 15ct gold sapphire and diamond bracelet. The alternate graduated vari-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond line, with curb-link surrounds, spacers and back-chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Length 18.5cms. Weight 18.7gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
Later safety chain currently broken.
Localised discolouration to back of clasp and at safety chain joints.
Diamonds well matched.
Sapphires are a medium to deep blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
Sapphires are in good to fair condition with some abrasions. One sapphire with small chip to girdle.
Stamped 15 to clasp, partially indistinct.
