A late Victorian 18ct gold opal and diamond dress ring. Designed as a graduated circular opal cabochon line, with old-cut diamond double spacers and slightly tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for London, partially indistinct. Ring size I. Weight 2.9gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Band shows evidence of resize, date letter obscured. Diamonds well matched. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
