[ translate ]

A late Victorian 18ct gold opal and diamond three-stone ring. The graduated oval opal cabochon line, with old-cut diamond double spacers, rose-cut diamond accents, and scrolling gallery. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Ring size P1/2. Weight 4.5gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good with surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Scratches and discolouration visible. Some claws worn, may require attention. Glue visible to some mounts and over two diamonds. Three rose-cut diamonds deficient. Diamonds well matched and bright.

Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight, colour or clarity estimation. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds have small light inclusions. Opals in fair condition with surface abrasion.

Opals with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, predominantly greens and oranges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.

Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
