A late Victorian 18ct gold sapphire and diamond dress ring. The graduated cushion-shape sapphire line, with old and single-cut diamond partial surround and old-cut diamond star-set shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Ring size N. Weight 3.8gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with small inclusions, some dark, few with minor nicks to the surfaces. Sapphires are well matched, deep medium blue, well saturated, with good clarity, colour zoning and typical inclusions.

Sapphires are in good condition with minor abrasion to some facet edges.
