A late Victorian amethyst and diamond brooch, c.1890,
with an octagonal Lisbon cut amethyst, in a gold cut down collet. A border of old Swiss cut diamonds in cut down silver collets to a open outer frame. A blade edge bar frame, with an old European cut diamond at each compass point, with graduated cushion cut old European cut and Swiss cut diamonds between, all in silver cut down collets to a pin and 'C' catch.
