A late Victorian coral and diamond bar brooch.

The circular-shape coral cabochon within and old-cut diamond cluster, to a rose-cut diamond set openwork geometric bar, total old-cut diamond weight approx. 0.80ct, length 6.4cm.
Condition Report: Weight approx. 11.6g. Overall condition good. Slight surface scratches and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. The reverse with some staining, possible acid test staining. One terminal with file mark and discolouration. Diamonds well matched. Diamond lively and bright. Calculated diamond weight approximate, weighed in mount, weight may differ. Individual cut, size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment. Coral slightly mottled light to medium pinkish orange, fairly well saturated. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Estimated diameter of coral 10.5mm.
