A late Victorian diamond set cartouche shaped brooch/pendant, c.1890,
of open scrolling form. An old European cut diamond, milligrain set to the centre, with trailing scrolls, grain set with graduated old Swiss cut and old eight cut diamonds, with a diamond set leaf spray. A diamond set pendant drop and bale, with a later continental brooch fitting, suspended on a curb chain. Tested as approximately sterling silver, backed in 15ct gold. Brooch fitting 9ct gold. Chain tested as platinum. 80 x 49mm, 19.80g
