A late Victorian diamond set target-style brooch/pendant, c.1880,
with a flower head cluster to the centre. An old European cut diamond in a cut down collet at the centre with a petal border, set with old eight cut diamonds. A hoop, grain set with old Swiss cut and old eight cut diamonds, with an outer row of flower buds, grain set with old Swiss cut diamonds, with a diamond set fleur-de-lys spray at each end. A fold-down bale with a jump ring, brooch housing verso, fitting deficient. Tested as approximately sterling silver and backed in 9ct gold. 29 x 31mm, 12.28g
